What owners say · Getting paid

Chasing tutoring payments after every lesson? Automatic reminders, and a 0% Pillar fee.

Reminders go out on your schedule and stop once the payment is recorded. Families pay by card with auto-pay, through your own processor or by e-transfer.

The moment

You taught the lesson. Now you’re chasing the money.

The lesson is done, the tutor will want to be paid, and the e-transfer still hasn’t come in. So you write the reminder, gently, because you like this family. Next month you write it again. Meanwhile your software only takes the one payment company it picked for you.

What Pillar OS does / 02

Here’s how Pillar OS handles it

You choose how families pay: your own Stripe or Global Payments account, or e-transfer, cash and cheque, with your own payment instructions printed on every invoice and reminder. Pillar adds no fee of its own on top of your payment company’s. Families who want it keep a card on file with auto-pay, and payment reminders go out on your schedule and stop once the payment is recorded.

  • Auto-pay active

What Pillar OS doesn’t do yet

Interac e-transfers and bank payments are recorded by hand: there’s no automatic bank debit for families yet. Your payment company’s own fees still apply; Pillar adds none on top.

Good to know

Can families pay by Interac e-transfer?

Yes. Your own instructions print on every invoice and reminder. You record the transfer when it arrives, and the reminders stop.

How much does Pillar OS cost?

One fee set by your active students, in Canadian dollars: $35 a month for up to 50, then by band up to $599 at 1,000. No fee per tutor, per lesson or per family login, and no share of your revenue. Texting, AI use, extra storage, a website, extra locations and the GoHighLevel connection are billed separately, only if you use them.

We use other software or spreadsheets today. How do we move?

On a setup call, we bring your students, families and tutors over from your export or your spreadsheets and book your first sessions with you. Past lessons and invoices stay in your old system’s export, so keep it.

Does it work in French?

Yes. The whole product runs in French or English, for your team and for each family in its own language. GST and QST are calculated on the invoice.
