Questions owners ask before they try it
Does this tell me what other tutors charge?
No. It works from your costs and the margin you choose. What families in your area pay is a separate question; this gives you the lowest price that works for your centre and the one that keeps your margin.
Why count the hours I pay for but never bill?
Because you pay for them anyway: a no-show you still pay the tutor for, paid prep, training. They raise what every billed hour has to cover, and a price that ignores them is too low.
How do I turn this into a price per session?
The calculator shows 30, 45, 60 and 90 minutes. For any other length, or a monthly plan, the tutoring rate converter on this site does it from the same hourly price.
